ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND PROCESS RESPONSIBILITIES
(Other duties may be assigned as necessary)
- Performs all responsibilities of Refrigeration Technician
- Performs mid-range diagnostics and troubleshooting
- Performs basic to advanced welding
- Performs most repairs, preventative & predictive maintenance and replacements in his/her specific classification
- Usually works alone on repair orders
- Performs some training
- Diagnoses and detects refrigerant leaks and repair
- Diagnosis and repairs: Electrical components, oil leaks, fuel systems, refrigeration systems, a variety of engines, charging systems, exhaust systems, starting systems, and cycle sentry electronics
- Must be computer proficient
- Must be able to work in a team environment
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION PREFERRED
- High School or equivalent education (preferred)
- Proficient in English include read & writing
- Authorized to work in United States
- 1-3 years experience as a mechanic
- Familiar with Kubota, Yenmar, Isuzu engine
- Carrier Transicold & Thermoking experience is a plus
- Computer diagnostic experience
- Ability to perform intermediate repairs
- A high skilled level of welding / soldering
- Ability to read schematic diagrams
- Basic Refrigeration and Electrical and Welding/Soldering
- EPA certified in 609 / 608, TYPE II minimum
- Certified in AC repair
PHYSICAL AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS
- Must be able to lift 100 pounds and carry a distance of 5 ft
- Must be able to work sitting, standing, stooping, bending, or in a prone position
- Must be able to work with hands over head
- Must be able to climb and work from a ladder
JOB TYPE: Full-time
